I remember in the 80's, Mark Allen and Dave Scott doing Kona in 8:06's and using aluminum bikes without Aero Bars.

With all that said, I do like your bike.Bryan https://www.blogger.com/profile/03248841413916879196noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30395094.post-78539830870075521262009-12-16T19:22:33.486+08:002009-12-16T19:22:33.486+08:00Looking sleek.....aero......and ready to go damn f...Looking sleek.....aero......and ready to go damn fast.......

just a shame about the sleek (NOT).....areo (NOT)......pilot!!!Chris Wnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30395094.post-44557502953893140542009-12-16T16:11:03.939+08:002009-12-16T16:11:03.939+08:00Thanks Johan, the intent is to push hard in one an...Thanks Johan, the intent is to push hard in one and use the other as a training day.Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16432165719668908143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30395094.post-78188881976947011342009-12-16T15:28:47.005+08:002009-12-16T15:28:47.005+08:00wow

After that the list ends.

As for road bikes, I'd go with the same list although I've got to admit I have NEVER ridden anything other than Trek so I'm not much of a "oficionado" on these matters. I do think Orbea make beautifully looking bikes though.

PS I've nevr driven a Ferrari either.Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16432165719668908143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30395094.post-1660054742639022412009-12-15T21:48:34.342+08:002009-12-15T21:48:34.342+08:00Thanks Johan, I've got Ironman Malaysia to wor...Thanks Johan, I've got Ironman Malaysia to worry about first though and that'sgonna be damn hot.Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16432165719668908143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30395094.post-34236588416857678292009-12-15T21:31:35.000+08:002009-12-15T21:31:35.000+08:00Simon

Even better than your old Alu P3,the "Orange Rattler".

As for playing courier for me with my Tula bars, I really am grateful, they would have been a long time coming if it wasn't for you. (I did put a mention on Twitter & Facebook by the way but have been remiss in my blog - this will be rectified immediately).Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16432165719668908143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30395094.post-5216345305344637542009-12-15T20:32:06.331+08:002009-12-15T20:32:06.331+08:00Hey Johan, I was rather hoping that with the new T...Hey Johan, I was rather hoping that with the new Tulas that pedaling would be a thing of the past - didn't I read somewhere that they make the bike fly?

As for being hard on you Cervelo guys, seems to me that they're the most popular bike for good reason. Wouldn't give up my Trek though.

I read also that you on your P4 are feared even by the pros in South Africa. I'd love to ride with you one day! I'm sure that will happen sooner or later though.Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16432165719668908143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30395094.post-59091651292274196342009-12-15T19:45:11.748+08:002009-12-15T19:45:11.748+08:00Delivery was courtesy of "pack horse Sam"...Delivery was courtesy of "pack horse Sam"Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12198902426520501417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30395094.post-92179872592687412142009-12-15T18:40:58.275+08:002009-12-15T18:40:58.275+08:00Hi Simon
