This is one of my all-time favourite multi-sport photos. It was taken at Powerman Malaysia 2009 recently. The two subjects sprinting for the finish are Juliana Ali and Ngae Koh Hieng. Juliana valiantly completed this race carrying an injury and prior to going to have surgery done on her knee - brave or what? Ngae as you will have seen in posts earlier in the year was diagnosed with a brain tumour shortly after finishing Ironman Malaysia. He had it removed, slowly rehabilitated and now look at him.Have you ever seen two people enjoying themselves so much? I think is says a lot about them and a lot about the sport. BRAVO!

Both says they going for full 5 hours. Both ended up doing way below that. Human spirit.
