Black Beauty gets an upgrade

Coming to a particular dusky dark Trek TTX very soon. Ooo! I think I'm in love.

nice...I believe this is more aero as the brakes are right in front the bar.

Looks like airplane engine...

Yes super slick and super aero, can brake easily of course but hell who needs brakes.

Meant to say "can't brake easily"

Hi Simon.
Great choice, Have a USE1 handle bar now for 2 years and it is great. When I sold my previous bike I transferred bars, can't let go of them.
You will feel the speed

Thanks Johan, I've been eye-ing them for a couple of years but couldn't justify it as my current Carbon X profile bars are excellent. They broke recently so that was a good enough excuse. I'll be picking up the Tula bars this evening but probably won't fit them until after this weekend (2 races, a sprint and Olympic tris).

In fact I repaired my old bars with epoxy and glass tape and they are as good as new now - guess I keep them as spare.

Hope the "off-season" is not too frustrating for you but just a few days before the IM training starts again!! Good luck with that and you injury.

WATT IS IT ALL ABOUT?
At 30mph, the USE TULA Aero bar saves up to 15 watts, over other high-end aero bar set-ups. This has been verified by world leaders Engenuity with their C.F.D. (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis and Michael Hutchinson at the Manchester Velodrome.

cool!!!
