Check this out. This is Mona, Dino Alfare's daughter. Dino used to be based here in Malaysia before going home to Switzerland.
These bikes are what the Europeans teach their kids to ride on now. They don't have pedals or the dreaded (and dangerous) training wheels. Kids learn to balance straightaway and the transition to pedal bikes is so much easier.

thats a great bike! i've just managed to get lucas (who's a lot older than mona by the look of it) riding without stabilisers but before he cracked it, the pedals do seem to get in the way of simply trying to balance.
